IUP ÇÑÀÎ Çлýȸ ȸĢ(Á¦Á¤ 2004³â)
1. Name
The name of this organization
shall be the Korean Student Association at Indiana University of
Pennsylvania.
2. Purpose
2.1 To promote the education
and enrichment of its members and the university community with aspects
of Korean culture through involvement and participation in various
social, cultural, and political activities.
2.2. This organization and
its members shall not discriminate against any individual(s) for
reasons of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, national
origin, sex, age, or handicap.
3. Membership
3.1. KSA is open to any
enrolled IUP student, part-time and full-time. Others, such as faculty,
alumni, professionals, etc.
3.2. Membership shall be
completed upon the approval of elected or recommended officers.
3.3. Membership fee shall be
set by the elected or recommended officers at a mandatory general
meeting
4. Officers &
Committee
President
The president shall be the
spokesperson for the KSA, and shall prepare for all meetings, which
pertain or relate to the KSA. The president shall provide motivation
for the association and be open to all opinions and inputs. The
president shall coordinate the executive board transition with advisor.
He/she shall initiate activities and assure the progress of KSA. He/she
may appoint special officers and committees for special activities.
He/she shall also have the final voice in all decisions.
Vice-President
The Vice-President shall take
charge of all social and cultural activities, as well as community services.
He/she shall perform other duties as directed by the president.
Secretary
The Secretary shall prepare
an agenda with the President for meetings and keep the association
informed. The secretary shall serve as the association's recognition
coordinator. He/she shall also assist the president in matters
pertaining to the KSA.
Treasurer
The Treasurer shall prepare the associational budget with the president
and serve as chair of a finance/fundraising committee. He/she shall
keep track of receipts, reimbursement forms, supply requests and
maintain a financial history of the association.
Webmaster:
The webmaster shall create and maintain organization's webpage and
perform other duties as assigned by the president
5. Amendments
This constitution may be amended
by a two-thirds majority of the members present at a mandatory general
meeting.
